Bio:

Hi! My name is Harkiran Kaur and I’m entering my third (and hopefully final) year at the University of Washington. I study informatics (basically the intersection of people, information, and technology), where as both a researcher and designer, I focus on the field of human-computer interaction. Outside of school, I like to do kirtan, do seva (currently working with the United Sikh Movement), play tennis, read, and spend time with my friends.

I want to be an advisor because I have advised many high school and college students in the past due to my job as a peer advisor in my department, and I think I could push that forward by doing this seva and making an impact on Sikh students.

Bio:

Hi my name is Harman Singh Sidhu and I’m a junior at the University of Washington I helped found the Sikh student association at my college as well as a Bhangra team. My mains goals were to spread our culture across campus and connect the Sikh and Punjabi youth. In my downtime I love playing video games and hanging out with my friends. Aim to be in the top 10%-15% of your class. The average ACT is 33. CMC put a ton of focus on how you’ve applied your learning via ECs so don’t stress too much about scores and grades.

Definitely Economics, Government, Psychology, International Relations, and PPE (Philosophy Government and Economics). We get the rap of being a Econ bro school but some of our other majors like Philosophy and Religious Studies really standout among top schools.
