Bio:
My name is Gurnoor and I am a freshman at Columbia University. I am majoring in Computer Science while completing a concentration in Business Management. At Columbia, I am the Community Service Chair for our Sikh Student Association: Columbia Sewa. In my role, I look for different volunteer opportunities and help organize the events we hold. Along with this, I am a part of Columbia’s Data Product Initiative in which I help program and implement applications. Lastly, I am a Software Engineering Fellow at a startup called Adora Experiences. Adora develops personalized, mobile college tours for high school students around the country using Augmented Reality (AR). In my free time, I enjoy doing Bhangra for CU Bhangra.
I want to be an advisor because I would love to give back to our community. I remember how difficult and tough college applications and decisions were. I always had people to guide and assist me in my college process, and now I aspire to do the same!
