Bio:

Hi my name is Jasleen and I’m currently a third year at the Ohio State University! I’m a nutrition major and business minor on the pre optometry track. In my free time I enjoy teaching sign language to children, hiking and doing pageants.

I want to be an advisor because all throughout my childhood, Sikhi has played such an important role, but it wasn’t until high school where I truly found myself connecting with my older sangat. I would like to give those younger than me the same opportunity I was given to find out how Sikhism can help and change their lives! Even today, I reach out to older Sikhs I’ve met through camps and conferences to get help on taking my OAT and how to apply for opt school. As a Sikh it would be my rightful duty to help those younger than me and continue to build bridges and networks within our Sangat.
