Bio:
I am a third-year law student at DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois, set to receive my Juris Doctor in May 2021. I graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago in May 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in political science and a minor in music. While at UIC, I helped re-start the Sikh Student Association, and it was through this organization that I realized I had a passion for mentoring Sikh students. Mentorship is the key to any professional field, and it is a great privilege to be able to help students learn the cultural nuances of their future fields as well as best practices for Sikhs (who are often the only Sikh, sometimes only Punjabi/Indian/South Asian/Desi person in a class or workplace).
