Bio:

Hey I’m Jiya, a senior at Washington University in St. Louis! I’m majoring in Finance and Entrepreneurship, and interned at Citibank in the Global Consumer Banking Group.

In high school I was an active member of FBLA and won first in the nation for my EBusiness design. I also was President of Model UN.

At college I am the co-owner of an on campus laundry and dry cleaning delivery service with revenues that exceed $100,000 annually. This participation has led me to want to work with smaller businesses and startups in the future, and sparked my passion for the intersection of business, technology, and innovation. I was the moderators of the first HER Summit, a day devoted to helping women entrepreneurs build networks within the St. Louis area. I’m excited to mentor young and aspiring Sikh students and motivate them throughout high school and college to find where they can learn and grow best.
